Outstanding 8x10 photo of Jim Thorpe, known as "The greatest athlete of the 20th century". Thorpe was a gold medalist in both the decathalon and pentathalon in the 1912 Olympics. He played 6 years of professional baseball, then played professional football for the New York Giants, and was elected into the football hall of fame. Thorpe is pictured here in his one and only season as a member of the Cincinnati Reds in 1917. |
